They are important to assist with SAWA SA’s administrative costs (stationery, brochure production, auditing of books, postage, Website costs, etc.) so that all donations and other funds go directly to our projects to support women and girls in Afghanistan
Your application for membership, plus any optional donation, can be processed via the Membership link in our online shop.

There is also a Printed Details & Cheque option available, where you can print, complete, and post details along with a cheque – instead of the new ecommerce method.

Supporters provide financial support via one-off or regular donations, or in-kind assistance.

Honorary life members
Honorary life membership may be granted to individuals who have rendered outstanding service to SAWA-Australia (SA).

We are all volunteers who value the work of SAWA in Afghanistan. If you are interested in helping, even in a casual role where you do not have to attend meetings formally, then please contact us.

Read our Annual Report, see what we do and let us know how you would like to help. Maybe fundraising by organising a morning tea, concert or film night, or selling merchandise. Contact us, we are sure there is some way you can help.

From our online shop, you’ll find the Annual SAWA Membership as well as beautiful products and gifts.

Also consider purchasing Making Marks, a book created by a collection of Afghan and Australian women artists is available.

All proceeds from sales go via SAWA to the Organisation for the Promotion of Women’s Capabilities (OPAWC) which operates the Vocational Training Centre in Kabul. Unfolding Projects – Making Marks Books
