Bands, great music, food and drinks, Afghan handicraft for sale. 3 pm: Screening of View from a Grain of Sand, a documentary on 50 years of Afghanistan history and the fate of its women by Afghan journalist Meena Nanji 5 pm: Performances by River Free, Matty Devitt Band, Tarshito & the Fleeting Forest, Belly Dancer Corrina, SAWA speaker Dawn Atkinson & Mandy Nolan Supported by Ku Promotions, Raes on Wategos, Just Imagine Hypnotherapy, Life of Byron, Harvest Cafe, The Green House, Electric, Fish Mongers, Edge Jewellery Designs, Santos, Mary Ryan’s Bookstore, Body Balance, Passion at Flowers, Late Night Video, Dendy Cinemas, Hustle & Flow, Melinda Andreas Byron Bay Photos, Expresso Head, Music & Vision, Paradiso Beauty, Byron Bay Gourmet Pies, Goddess of Babylon, The Kiva Spa and Biobotanica skincare. Nimbin SAWA fundraising concert with fierce and authentic singer songwriter extraordinaire Jarrah and with Bob Oort on acoustic guitar playing music from Celtic and Arabic traditions, Birth & Beyond Centre Nimbin, Cullen Street near the Nimbin Environment Centre, Friday 9 April 6:30 for 7pm.
